MANAGEMENTDISCUSSIONANDANALYSIS BusinessandOperationReview ThemediabusinessoftheGrouphasbeenaffectedbytheCOVID-19pandemicwhichhasspreadallovertheworldsincetheyearof2019.BusinessactivitiessloweddownandsomeofthefilmandTVdramaprojectscurrentlybeingdevelopedbytheGrouphavebeenpostponed. Revenuefromitsmediaandculturebusinessforthesixmonthsperiodended30June2022wasapproximatelyHK$37.1million,comparedwithapproximatelyHK$1.4millionforthecorrespondingperiodof2021.However,withincreasedexpensesandfinancecosts,theGroupreportedanetlossattributabletoownersoftheCompanyofapproximatelyHK$53.2millionforthesixmonthsperiodended30June2022comparedwithlossofapproximatelyHK$42.4millionforthecorrespondingperiodof2021. TheGroupwillcontinuetomonitorthedevelopmentofCOVID-19situationcloselyandassessitsimpactsonthefinancialpositionandoperatingresultsoftheGroup. 星光文化娱乐集团有限公司（“本公司”）董事（“董事”）会（“董事会”）连同其附属公司（统称“本集团”）依此呈列本集团截至二零二二年六月三十日止六个月之未经审核简明综合业绩，连同二零二一年同期之比较数字。 管理层讨论及分析 业务及营运回顾 自二零一九年起，本集团的媒体业务一直受到世界范围内COVID-19疫情的影响。业务活动转弱及本集团当前开发的部分电影及电视剧项目已推迟。 截至二零二二年六月三十日止六个月期间，来自传媒及文化业务的收益为约37,100,000港元，而二零二一年同期则为约1,400,000港元。然而，随着开支及融资成本增加，本集团于截至二零二二年六月三十日止六个月期间录得本公司拥有人应占亏损净额约53,200,000港元，而二零二一年同期则为亏损约42,400,000港元。 本集团将继续密切关注COVID-19的发展状况并评估其对本集团财务状况及经营业绩的影响。 二零二二年中期报告星光文化娱乐集团有限公司5 MediaandCulture TheGroup’smoviesandTVdramaseriesproductsandinvestments,projectsincubatedbyfilmdirectorsandrelatedprepaymentsamountedtoapproximatelyHK$418.4millionasat30June2022(31December2021:approximatelyHK$387.5million),andthefollowingsaresomehighlights: Mediainvestmentsandproducts CrazyRichAsians ThemoviewasinvestedandreleasedbyWarnerBros.Pictures,co-investedbytheGroupanddirectedbydirectorJonM.Chu(whohasenteredintoanagreementwiththeGroup),andwasreleasedinAugust2018.Thefilmwasadaptedfromabest-sellingnovelwrittenbyKevinKwanunderthesametitle,whichhasasolidreaderbase.ThemoviestarsConstanceWu,HenryGolding,MichelleYeoh,andetc.ThehighlyanticipatedmovieisthefirstmajorfilmthatisnotaperiodpieceinHollywoodintwoandahalfdecadestofeatureanallethnicallyAsiancast.A
