The HolidayBarometer survey conducted by Ipsos/EUROPASSISTANCE surveyed 15,000 people in 15 countries, including North Americans, Europeans, Asians, and Oceanians. The survey was conducted online between April 26th and May 16th, 2022, using a representative sample of the population aged 18 years and older. The survey aimed to understand the current state of travel enthusiasm, concerns regarding the global situation, main concerns when traveling, and conditions to fulfill travel plans. The survey found that inflation has the greatest impact on respondents' enthusiasm regarding travel, with 30% of Europeans citing it as the main issue impacting their travel plans. The survey also found that COVID-19 has a strong impact on only 1 in 6 Europeans, with personal and family reasons being the second most cited issue.
