This report examines the impact of climate change on fragile states in Sub-Saharan Africa. The authors use panel estimations to analyze the evidence and find that climate change has a negative effect on economic growth, political stability, and human development. The study suggests that policy makers should focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and building resilience to climate change in order to mitigate its impact on fragile states.
